Getting Started

Tinuum Networks is a local, fibre-only Internet Service Provider delivering ultra-fast GPON-based fibre-to-the-home and business connectivity. We use the same technology as the "big guys" — over our own cables.

We currently service select areas in Salisbury, New Brunswick, with continuous expansion. Check our service area map or contact us to see if we're in your area.

Possibly. Our focus is connecting areas without fibre optic internet, mostly in rural areas. Let us know where you are — we track demand when planning future expansion.

Let's talk!

No. Tinuum Networks delivers Internet over a dedicated fibre optic line — no phone or cable bundle is required.

Plans & Pricing

No. All of our plans include truly unlimited data — no throttling, no overages.

If you have a household with four teenagers all doing homework, watching Netflix, talking to friends, and playing an online game — you will be fine.

Note: Torrenting 24/7 is not fine. Don't worry if you don't know what "torrenting" is — this only applies to roughly 0.001% of households.

Business has different needs. If there is a problem, business customers go to the top of the queue and get priority attention. Situations like working from home, Shopify, Interac payments — these are priority situations that can't have downtime.

We can. Let's talk.

Standard installation is $199 for most homes. For properties where the distance from the street exceeds 100 metres, a custom quote may apply. We'll provide full details before any work begins — no surprises.

All streaming services — Crave, Apple TV+, Prime, Netflix, CTV App, CBC Gem, etc. — work great on Tinuum service.

Your cell phone with Wi-Fi calling will also work over Tinuum Networks service.

We can offer home phone and traditional TV if there is enough demand. Let us know if you're interested.

Fibre optic networks offer the lowest latency path to the Internet. At Tinuum Networks we are gamers too. If you feel your game latency isn't right, contact us.

Technical

We provide a fibre ONT (like a modem) and a basic wireless router as part of your installation. You can also use your own compatible router if preferred. For businesses and internet-savvy households we offer additional options, such as a no-Wi-Fi ONT or SFP.

The installation includes a pole-mounted aerial cable or buried cable to your home exterior. This portion is completed in advance with no need for anyone to be present — we'll walk you through everything beforehand.

Most interior installations are completed within 1 to 2 hours, depending on property layout and access. We ask that you be present during this phase.

Possibly, if it is a buried install. This is very site-specific, but involves burying a 3/4" conduit (very similar to PEX pipe) in your yard.

If the Tinuum Networks equipment and router at your home is powered, you will have internet during a power outage. In practice this means you need battery backup (UPS), a generator, etc. at your home.

Fibre optic cables do not carry electrical current, so they are safe to use during thunderstorms. It's always wise to use surge protection for your connected electronic devices.

No. With fibre-optic technology, all customers within our service area have access to the same service plans and receive the same high-speed performance, regardless of location.

We buy service from Tier 1 providers that pass through the Maritimes. The Maritimes sits on the fibre optic cable route between North America and Europe — "downtown" from the Internet's point of view.

We provide a managed router designed for our network to ensure you get the best performance and support. If you prefer to use your own router, let us know at time of ordering.

For many households one Wi-Fi router will work. But if you need wider coverage, we have the expertise to get Wi-Fi anywhere on your property. Let's talk.
