A real network, not a reseller connection.
Tinuum designs, builds, and operates its own fibre-optic network — including our own routing infrastructure, our own IP addresses, and our own autonomous system.
What that means in practice
Our own fibre infrastructure
We design, build, and maintain our own fibre-optic access and backbone network — we don't lease last-mile connectivity from another carrier.
Our own autonomous system
Tinuum operates its own AS and controls its own BGP routing, rather than sitting behind another provider's network.
Our own IP address space
We hold ARIN-registered IPv4 and IPv6 address space in our own name, and every plan includes a routable IPv6 /56 prefix.
Direct Moncton connectivity
We peer directly in Moncton via CanIX (MCTN-IX) — not routed through Toronto or Montreal — for shorter, more direct paths.
MANRS member
We follow Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security, an industry standard for routing hygiene and network security.
Access and backbone, both ours
We operate both the last-mile network to your building and the backbone infrastructure connecting it — end to end.
Beyond Internet access
Because we own and operate the fibre itself, we can offer more than a standard Internet connection: private fibre and transport, dark fibre, point-to-point Ethernet, and optical/wavelength transport for organizations that need dedicated capacity between sites.

Our network is monitored and operated locally, by people based in New Brunswick — not an overseas or out-of-province network operations centre. When something needs field attention, our crews are close by.
We also design for genuine physical resilience rather than logical redundancy alone — route diversity, separate failure domains, and reduced exposure to common-mode failures for connections that can't afford downtime.
Tinuum holds its own ARIN-registered IP space and AS number, is a MANRS member committed to routing security best practices, and peers directly in Moncton via CanIX (MCTN-IX).
