Capabilities

Tinuum owns and operates its own fibre plant, its own autonomous system, and its own IP space — we design and construct networks, not just resell connectivity.

Public-Sector Infrastructure

Tinuum designs and builds fibre infrastructure for public-sector and critical-communications applications in New Brunswick.

Our capabilities include dedicated fibre, physically diverse routes, underground and aerial construction, optical transport, network monitoring, and documentation suitable for government and institutional networks.

Tinuum has experience delivering telecommunications infrastructure through public-sector procurement processes. Contact us to discuss specific public-sector or enterprise requirements.

Resilient network design

Two "redundant" circuits from two providers still share a single point of failure if they run down the same poles, through the same duct, or across the same bridge.

Two circuits on the same poles are still one failure domain.

We reduce common-mode failure — redundant circuits failing together because they share physical infrastructure — by routing independent paths across separate poles, underground conduit, alternate corridors, and diverse building entrances.

Alternate road corridors
Diverse crossings
Diverse building entrances
Avoiding shared infrastructure where practical

Critical infrastructure and resilience

Canada and its NATO allies are increasing investment in defence- and security-related infrastructure. Under the NATO 5% commitment, up to 1.5% of GDP may be accounted for through broader defence- and security-related investments, including protection of critical infrastructure, network defence, civil preparedness, and resilience.

Tinuum applies these principles at the physical-network level by designing fibre systems with fewer common points of failure and genuinely diverse routes.
