Business has different needs. If there is a problem, business goes to the top of the pile and gets priority. Situations like working from home, shopify, interac payements, etc. are all prioriy situations that can't have down time.

All streaming services such as Crave, Apple+, Prime, Netflix, CTV App, CBC Gem, etc. will work on your Tinuum Networks service. Your cell phone with wi-fi calling will work over Tinnum Networks service. We can offer home phone and tradional TV if there is enough demand.

No. All of our plans include truly unlimited data — no throttling, no overages. What does this mean? If you have a household with four teenagers all doing homework, watching Netflix, talking to friends, and playing an online game...you will be fine. NOTE: Torrenting 24/7, etc. is not fine. Don't worry if you don't know what "torrenting" is. This only applies to ~0.001% of houesholds.

We provide a fiber ONT (like a modem) and a basic wireless router as part of your installation. You can also use your own compatible router if preferred. For business and internet-savvy households we offer additional options, such as an no wifi ONT or SFP.

The installation consists of an pole mounted aerial cable or buried cable to your home or business exterior. This portion is completed in advance with no need for anyone to be present. We certainly will answer any questions and go over the install beforehand. Most installations inside the premises are completed within 1 to 2 hours, depending on property layout and access. We request that you be present during this phase of the install.

Possibly, if you it is a buried install. This is very site specific, but involves burying a 3/4" conduit (very similiar to PEX pipe) in your yard.

No. Tinuum Networks delivers Internet over a dedicated fibre optic line — no phone or cable bundle is required.

If the Tinuum Networks equipment and router at your home is powered you will have internet during a power outage. This means in practice you need battery backup (UPS), generator, etc. at your home.

Fibre optic cables do not carry electrical current, so they are safe to use during thunderstorms. However, it's always wise to use surge protection for your connected electronic devices.

No. With fiber-optic technology, all customers within our service area have access to the same service plans and receive the same high-speed performance, regardless of location.

We buy serivce from Tier 1 proviers that pass through the maritimes. The maritimes is on the fibre optic cable route between North America and Europe. This is "downtown" from the Internet's point of view.

We provide a managed router designed for our network to ensure you get the best performance and support. If you wish, you can use your own router, please let us know at time of ordering service.

For many households one wifi router will work. But if you are not in that siutation we have the expertise to allow you to have wifi anywere on your property. Let's talk.
